April is HALF OVER today! I love spring! All the new buds, flowers, the smell/sound of fresh cut lawn, rain showers...(sigh). Love it!
Every day has seemed to blend into the next. It's crazy! Trav & I only have two weeks left of school. Unfortunately Trav will continue to teach through May. But at least his night classes will be over. He's so awesome. He never complains (unlike me!). He just goes and does what he's supposed to. What a guy!
For the last three or four months we weren't certain if Trav would have a teaching position this coming school year. The district he teaches for has had some serious budget cuts...and we were originally told teachers would be let go according to seniority. Since Trav was just hired this last September we figured he'd be the first to be told. But we found out a few weeks ago that they aren't cutting teaching positions! So, he'll be there again next year! I think we're both relieved.
At first we were hoping he would be increased to be a full time teacher - but as time has gone on - we have realized what a blessing it is that he can teach part time. Trav will have the rest of his life to work full time. And considering our current situation, we're counting our blessings! He's able to take afternoon/night classes without stressing out too much. He's been able to spend some time doing his own thing with his art as well. He's been working on a few things the past little while and seems to thoroughly enjoy the time he has to himself.
I can't wait for Summer. We'll be able to spend so much more time together! I get chills thinking about it. I swear, we haven't seen much of each other. And when we're able to watch a movie, I'm always totting around my back pack and homework. So the thought of actually watching a movie, going for a walk care-free, talking without homework on the back of my mind sounds AmAzInG!
I love my boy! I miss him so much. And with that in mind, I know we're both doing good things with ourselves. These things will bless our marriage in the end. We just have to get through the next few weeks!
I guess I'll end this boring post with: things are good. And we are grateful.
He, he.
P.S. I am taking a couple of classes over the summer. I'm doing all I can to get my degree as quickly as possible. I won't lie though, I'm wasted. I'm so tired. I could use a good, LOOOOOONG break. But if I stop now I fear I won't finish. So, here's to finishing what I started! ;)

Yay for you guys!!! I'm so glad you will get to spend some time together... even if it's just a few care-free days. Enjoy them. You guys deserve it.
