Our sweet little baby K is four months old today!
Four months!!
We are madly in love with this little girl.
She's full of expressions, just like her daddy.
She brings a special light in our lives.
She's beautiful. Simply beautiful.
It seems like she's been with us for so much longer,
yet at the same time it seems like it's only been a week or two.
Developmental milestones:
1. Kozette "talks" to us on a regular basis. She has the cutest little voice ever!
2. Kozette has started laughing.
2. Kozette has started laughing.
**It started out as more of a groan with a little squeal at the end of each groan. Now she's laughing and we love hearing her. It's music to our ears.
3. Kozette loves to play games with her daddy every night before bed.
4. Kozette loves playing under a floor mobile toy.
**She's reaching for toys, although her movements are still a little all over the place she's getting good at grabbing what she's looking at.
5. Not only is Kozette getting good at reaching and grabbing toys with her hands, she's getting good at grabbing dangling toys with her feet.
**She LOVES to explore with her feet as much as she explores with her hands!
6. Kozette wakes up once during the night, sleeping 4-6 hours at a time. We are a-okay with this development milestone!!
7. Sucks on her fists like no ones business!
8. Wants to put everything in her mouth.
9. She absolutely loves to sit and stand up (with help, of course)
10. Kozette recognizes me and her daddy before we say anything.
10. Kozette recognizes me and her daddy before we say anything.
**She greets us with a smile whenever we walk into the room
She's full of smiles and she's generous in sharing them with others.
SHE KILLS US!
11. Kozette doesn't cry when waking up in the middle of the night. Rather she fidgets and grunts until I get up to feed her. She'll often smile at me before I pick her up to start her feeding.
12. Kozette doesn't just slobber, she SPITS. It's super cute.
**Kozette's currently teething. It sucks. :(
Why slobber when you can spit?!
13. Kozette's favorite vowel is "eh". We know this because since she was born she's had a trademark: she says "eh...ehh!" as a warning. If we don't listen, LOOK OUT! She'll have more to say!
14. Kozette has gained a STRONG opinion about being put down after being held. She does NOT like it!
15. Kozette has multiple blowouts each week. No joke. She can push 'em like the best.
It seems like she's been with us for so much longer than four months,
yet at the same time it seems like we brought her home just yesterday.
One thing's for sure.
We are madly in love with this precious little girl.
She has made life so much better, more full, more focused, more rewarding.
Happy four months, baby!
We love, LoVe, LOVE you!!!
