So we went to Park City, Utah for our reunion. It was actually quite fun...and COLD! There was frost on the ground one morning. Crazy, I know. But true.
Trav, me, Nic and Ash stayed in a hotel with Grandma during the reunion (rather than camping). Grandma was REALLY giddy! It was hilarious! The boys had fun teasing her...her laugh is contagious. Since we all shared a room we had to figure out a way to make the bathroom situation work. The best way was to shower with the door opened so others could use the facilities. hehe. Well one morning Travis was showering. Grandma needed to fix her hair so she went in (left the door open too). I guess Trav heard her because he decided to play a trick on her. He slowly poked his head out of the shower and just stared at her. When she finally looked over she screamed the biggest, loudest scream EVER! Trav busted! He was laughing like a little boy! We all ran over to see what had happened. Grandma fibbed and said, "He mooned me!"! After getting after Trav I came to learn the truth. Grandma's a little stinker too! She got a cup full of cold water and chucked it at him (with the help of Nic..of course!) It was a blast staying with her!Aw, so cute!Chillaxin'
Some of the family getting ready to canoe. What the?Enjoying in the water..it was a beautiful dayKolton had a great time laying out and readingThere's a story to the next few pictures. The boys (who are slightly...(eh hem) lacking..decided to get in a canoe together. So the girls did the same thing, naturally (only we were wise about weight limits). Anyway, the boys thought it'd be funny to chase the girls but only after we were out on the lake a ways. But before chasing us they hooked up with my parents and chased us down as
one large mass.
This wouldn't be such a big deal, except that Ashley is TERRIFIED of dark water. So while paddling our @$$3$ off I hear Ashley screaming, "Addy!!! They're coming! Hurry! Hurry! Faster!!!". All the while I'm screaming back, "I AM! I AM!!!" Geeze. We nearly hyperventilated!
Ah, good times.
Kade anxiously awaiting for the boys to come back and pick him up (the boys tipped more than they paddled, I swear.)Boys canoe (notice how low their canoe is compared to the all-wise-and-knowing girls canoe). Girls canoe. My expression is such because I couldn't believe how dumb the boys were. I was taken back for a moment. The chase is on! FrEaKy!!!Nearly knocking us over (look at Ashley's face! Bahahahahaha!)Pictures say a thousand words. The expressions on Auriel and Megan's face says it all - the boys are mischievous little stinkers! My camera died shortly after this little adventure so the rest of the reunion is stored in my heart - not on my camera.
